Merry Christmas
This Yule Aften plate is as old as you are.
It was made in Denmark by the Royal Copenhagen Company.
"Yule Aften" means "Christmas Evening" in Danish.
(I guess that is when they exchange their presents.)
Each design was used for only one year. Each year is different and individual for that year.
After each year's production was completed, the mold for that year was destroyed.
Each plate was individually and personally painted by hand.
Enjoy this plate and display it each Christmas and remember Paul and me.
